Privacy Policy

What Vyral collects, why, who sees it, and how to get rid of it.

1. Who we are

Vyral is operated by Daniel Lima, an individual trading as Vyral, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In this policy "we" and "us" mean Daniel Lima, who is responsible for the information described here.

This policy covers the Vyral iOS app and joinvyral.com. It doesn't cover TikTok, Instagram, PayPal or anything else you reach from Vyral — those have their own policies.

2. What we collect

We never see your TikTok or Instagram password. We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data, and the app contains no advertising or analytics SDK. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. How we use it

To run your account, verify the social accounts you post from, review your submissions against the campaign brief, work out and pay your earnings, send you notifications you've asked for, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations. That's the complete list.

4. Who we share it with

Only with the providers that make the service work, and only for that purpose: Clerk (sign-in), Ably (realtime notifications), Apple (push notifications), Railway (hosting), and PayPal or the Solana network (paying you). Each is required to protect your information to a standard comparable to this policy, and none may use it for their own purposes.

Brands and artists running a campaign see your public handle, your submitted post and its public metrics. They do not see your email address, your real name, your payout details, or your earnings on other campaigns.

These providers operate in the United States and elsewhere, so your information may be processed outside Canada and be subject to the laws of those countries. We remain accountable for it.

5. Crypto payouts are public and permanent

If you choose to be paid in USDC, we send it to the Solana wallet address you give us. Solana is a public blockchain — the amount, the date and your wallet address are permanently visible to anyone. We can't delete, hide or reverse a transaction once it's sent, on request or otherwise. Choose PayPal if that matters to you.

6. How long we keep it

7. Your rights, and deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Profile → Delete account. It's permanent, and it removes your profile, connected accounts, payout details and submissions. Only two things survive — payment records we're legally required to keep, and any blockchain transaction already sent, which nobody can remove.

Unpaid earnings are forfeited when you delete. Anything approved but not yet paid out is lost. The app warns you before you confirm.

You can also ask us to show you the information we hold, correct it, export it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Most of it you can edit yourself in the app. Withdrawing consent for notifications doesn't affect the rest of your account.

Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. We'll never charge you or treat you differently for exercising a right. If you're in Canada you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; if you're in California, the UK or the EU, you have equivalent rights under your own local law.

8. Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. Sign-in is handled by Clerk rather than by us storing passwords. No system is perfectly secure — if a breach affects you, we'll tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

9. Age

You must be at least 18 to use Vyral. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger, and if we discover we have, we delete the account and the information with it.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email before anything that materially affects your rights takes effect.
